Open Day: Tresillian

11th November – Tresillian Village Hall, Truro TR2 4AW
Cost £5. Afternoon only £2.50.

The main event of the day will be an afternoon talk (2p.m.start) by Judi Mendelssohn entitled “On not being a championship quilter”. This promises to be a real treat so please spread the word and bring along your friends.
The morning’s theme will be Christmas – do you have any Christmas fabric/patterns you would like to swap or share?
We will also be welcoming back Sally from Coast and Country Quilts, who will be offering an informal mini-workshop on the theme of Christmas angels. (Due to the large number of people at Sally’s last workshop, this will be limited to 15 people only and will be strictly on a first-come, first-served basis on the day – so get there early if you want to join in. The requirements for this will be published in our next Cornish newsletter.)
Sally will be our trader for the day. We will be having the usual faith lunch.

Saturday November 11th. Sound Stitchers exhibition of quilts in the Abbey Hall, Catherine Street, behind the Minster Church of St. Andrew, Royal Parade, Plymouth
10 am – 4pm. Admission £2. All proceeds to charity. Sales tables and refreshments available.
