11.00 – 12.00 – “From graduation to a career as a textile artist” by Louise Nichols
Louise writes “I graduated in 1992 with a degree in Fashions & Textiles. I’ll talk about the various stages of my career that have led to what I’m doing today, including designing upholstery fabric, wallpaper & stationary. I have lots of samples to show & stories to tell which all lead up to my work now which is lino printing onto fabric & embellishing the designs with felt & embroidery”
12.00 – 12.30 – Show and tell
Lunch – Please bring your own lunch and refreshments. Time to visit the traders; buy tickets for the quilts being raffled for different charities.
Also find, choose and vote for your favourite Challenge postcard on the theme of “Don’t you wish you were here”

2.15 – 3.15 – “The Draw-Sew-Trim applique technique.” by Katalin Horvath.
Katalin will explain her method of using the “Draw-Sew-Trim” technique that makes the applique process easier, faster and more accurate. We are sure some of you will have seen her lovely work at shows, on Facebook and her website: https://www.dream-quilt.com/patterns-1
