COMING OF AGE A celebratory exhibition by the 21-year-old South West Textile Group at the EAST GALLERY, The Bishop's Palace, Wells, Somerset BA5 2PB
Open 10.30 am - 5 pm daily – sometimes closes at 1 pm on Saturdays. There is an admission charge for access to the Palace, which dates from the early 13th century, and has the most beautiful gardens. There is also a cafe-restaurant in the Undercroft.

Tavistock Goosey Quilters Exhibition - Thursday 9th September, (12 noon to 4.30p.m.); Friday 10th September (10.a.m to 4.30 p.m.) and Saturday 11th September (9.30a.m. to 4.0 p.m.) at Tavistock Town Hall. Raffle Quilt in aid of Operation Sunshine. Traders: Daisy Chain, Coast and Country Crafts, Fabrics for Fun and Beads for Beauty. Refreshments available. Sales Table. Disabled access. Admission £2.

Trelyn Quilters are holding their 1st Exhibition at Fraddon Village Hall. Open from 10am to 5pm Thursday & Saturday and from 10am until 6.30 on the Friday. Refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle. Proceeds to go to the Renal Unit, Derriford Hospital. The hall has good wheelchair access and ample parking. signposted off the A30. The Sidmouth Patchers and Quilters are going to hold an OPEN DAY on Monday November 29th. This is going to be held in St John Ambulance Hall, Blackmore Drive, Sidmouth from 10am to 3pm.
This is a kind of OPEN HOUSE day, when local people, (and anyone else!) can visit us, and meet the club members and see what we do.
There will be some quilts on show, and other patchwork related items. Also there will be a sales table of patchwork related items and good quality hand-made gifts.
Light refreshments will be available, and we hope to have a table selling cakes to take home.
There is a charge of 50p per person on entry. The proceeds will be divided between Club Funds and the Devon Community Foundation trust. We have received two grants from the trust, and we will have on show some of the items we have bought with the grant money.
Please come and visit us, as we like to meet as many other patch workers as possible.

An Evening with Jennie Rayment - 7.30 p.m. at Bridestowe Village Hall - enjoy a lively talk and evenings entertainment - full details to follow.
5th-6th July
The Sidmouth Patchers and Quilters are planning to hold a two day quilt show in 2011. This will replace our OPEN DAY.
The show will take place in Kennaway House, (Used to be called Church House) which is very central to the town and by the bus stops. So if you have a bus pass use it!!
The dates are JULY 5th and 6th 2011. This is a Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make a note in your diaries, and we will be very pleased to see you. More details will follow as we make the arrangements.
